EcoMarines

EcoMarines offer a comprehensive primary program tailored for schools across Queensland, centered on the restoration and protection of our precious waterways and their diverse ecosystems. Our focus spans from the majestic inland rivers to the stunning coastal waters, aiming to safeguard these environments and the wildlife that rely on them.

Within participating schools, EcoMarines appoints a dedicated teacher and four passionate student ambassadors to spearhead impactful environmental projects and activities. These ambassadors are empowered with resources and guidance, inspiring them to devise engaging initiatives within their school premises and local community.

Moreover, EcoMarines creates opportunities for these ambassadors and teachers to broaden their horizons by attending events and networking with other schools and community members. This collaborative approach fosters a strong network of like-minded individuals committed to environmental stewardship.
