South East Queensland Football Championships (Wondall Juniors Represent Met East Region at Carnival)
Well done to our boys who competed last Friday. After some great efforts, our boys lost one pool game and drew the other. This wasn’t enough to progress to the final but, besides this, we are extremely proud of the time and dedication the boys, their parents and their coach put into the team. Well done boys.
Bayside District Track and Field Trials
Last Thursday and Friday 17 students from Wondall competed across various events at the carnival held at Cleveland District State High School. We recorded several PBs and finalists whilst competing against 35 other primary schools and 12 secondary schools (12 year olds). Special mention goes to our 3 students who were selected in the Bayside District team to compete at the Metropolitan East Carnival. Well done to Bryce D. (High Jump), Dante N. (100m) and Hayslee C. (High Jump & 100m). Well done to all who competed and thanks also to the parents who transported and attended cheering on all members of our team.
